Diving in the Navy Mark V, and the Yokohama (Japanese design), was certainly an experience. It's a PITA to deal with cause you have around 150lbs. of gear strapped to you(including the helmet), but once you get in the water it get easier. We did it mostly for historical and nostalgic value, which gives a new found respect for those who HAD to use them in the old days. I took a lot of pictures for the other guys on that antique setting; seemed appropriate given the history of the equipment. Those helmets are still used in many parts of the world. For the most part we've been using Kirby Morgan dive helmets. We're starting 160ft dives tomorrow. :eek3:
I'll have to check out Paseo, it sounds really good. There's a good Greek place in Fremont I need visit as well. Fremont is minutes away from me. Oh, and cheesecake = I'm there!
I've tried Dick's. Yeah, the burgers aren't that great compared to In-N-Out, but I have to say their fries are pretty good.
