If something like this goes through, a lot of innocent kids are going to starve because the poor choices of their parents. IMO there would have to be an increase in child protection services to implement this successfully.
And that's just it.... I believe programs like that WOULD be step up. Every time you squeeze society, Social Workers are there to catch the overflow. I'm not saying they're always successful, but they're certainly watching.
