You can get your credit report from all 3 bureaus for free from https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/index.jsp -- which was set up by the gov -- but that doesn't include your score. If you want your score, you can order it direct from each of the 3 bureaus, or use a service like http://www.myfico.com/Default.aspx. My girlfriend uses MyFico and loves it.
