you know that the score you get from those places isnt the same as a mortgage score

I enjoyed getting mine every mouth with my WaMu card, but since they switched to Chase you have to pay for it.

It's nice to be able to check at a glance for $5 a month, but I realize thats $60 a year for something I can see for free yearly.

Lately I've been finding things that I'm spending only a minimum per month on but adds up when you look at it yearly.. yay budget.

Since when is it against the law to give you a copy of your credit report? Sounds a bit fishy to me. Though I didn't get a copy of mine when I applied for a mortgage, but I was approved and I didn't ask for a copy. I ordered a 3 bureau report from Equifax a few times prior to applying for a mortgage. Being a victim of identity theft cause me check my credit report every so often to make sure there are no more shenanigans with my SSN going on.
