i had a B&M straight short shifter before they made bends in it in my first integra, it was alright. I replaced it with a STR shifter with cartridge bearings. it rattled in 5th gear. not because it hit the exhaust (and it did), but vibration resonance. what a pain.

i guess the biggest difference to me was looking for the short shifters that DIDNT have the cartridge bearings in the bottom. that should help you in the vibration departiment.
