I dont place him in my top 5 heavyweights of all time. He couldn't pass Lewis' jab, and he wouldn't have stood a chance against a young Larry Holmes' or Ali's range. He got outbrawled by Holyfield twice, and "real" heavyweight brawlers like Foreman and Shavers would have destroyed him.
When he fought Holyfield, he was NOT in his prime. A younger Mike Tyson with Cus still training, and it would have been a completely different fight.
The problem was, when he was in his prime, there wasn't many out there that were considered "great". And the few that were, kept dodging fighting him, until AFTER he went to prison and after the loss to Douglas (which he didn't train for, and had retarded people in the corner for).
