I just wanted to clear something up:
Someone on some other thread said that the auto-->manual swap was a total pain and really really hard or something. As someone who has done this swap (on my 1990 EX), I can say that it was not that bad at all, and A LOT easier than I thought it was going to be. The ONLY thing that is a pain is cutting and welding the tranny mount BRACKET to the chassis. Other than that, not too bad. You will NOT need a new ECU, reverse light wiring is a sinch, clutch pedal installation piece of cake. After all, both auto and manual cars are identical so all needed mounts/holes are already there. Oh, the Cruise Control took some tinkering to get to work again. Car runs like a champ now! Good Luck!!
