From what I read, I thought the Ingalls kit only adjusted to 3 degrees positive camber using the joints whereas the Skunk2 had 4 degrees positive and like 2 degrees negative with an entirely new upper control arm. I don't think there's really any benefit to replacing the upper control arm except, because of the Skunk2 design, camber is easier to adjust since it's more accessible. It also looks cooler, being painted red. As long as you tighten the bolts enough they won't slip.
