Nope. Let it be and enjoy the economy.
There are plenty of ways to make this car (way) faster than a legend, but since it is a dx, they pretty much all involve swapping the motor to something else. I would leave well enough alone if it's just a commuter. (says the guy who's had 3 different engines in his hatchback
