Only issue with mounting the tv above the fireplace is running cables. You're going to likely hit the chimney stack and you definitley dont wanna do that. You can keep it a corner mount using a double articulating mount like the one I picked up . Just mount it on the wall with the window and you can manuever it to sit angled in that corner with everything hidden.
