Default Microshaft Xbox helpline

I called them last night to get a simple question answered regarding why sometimes I get an error when trying to play movies. Seems simple right? I mean I have the name of the error and the symptoms well documented and I am ready to convey this simply and clearly to the person on the other end.

Well not so simple a process I learn to my dismay.

I tell this person (damned if I can figure out her name) the error os "Secure HDCP link lost" and that it is repeatedly flashing up on my screen.

After an hour of her searching for the answer in her computer I askher what exactly "HDCP" is and what would make it give this error....so she proceeds to tell me that "HTTP" is used in web addresses...uhhh WTF??

She then tells me that it is not reccomended to play DVDs on the Xbox, at this point I stop her and ask her why the system would be sold as a "Home entertainment solution" and yet not be reccomended for playing movies on??

So at that point I am a bit pissed because the better part of an hour with this bitch is spent looking up the wrong issue, so I ask for her supervisor. Another woman with a name I can't pronounce comes on and tries to look up the answer and can't find it. Finally she finds some information on it and tells me that it is probably my HDMI cable and that I should try a new one or go back to component cables.

So yeah great answers considering it used to do it on component cables too but at this point I just tell her she has been no help at all and hang up.

So anyone know what "Secure HDCP link lost" means and how to solve it?
Actually I would suggest everyone call the help line and ask the question repeatedly.
