thanks for the info...but this helps little with GSRacer's problem

its like when someone posts about getting 15mpg and asking whats wrong with their car, and all the replies are "well i get 45mpg in my car". or when someone asks "why does my motor burn so much oil" and the replies are "my engine doesnt burn a drop". I'm sure the original poster is fully aware that his problem isnt normal, otherwise he wouldnt have posted.

I wouldnt recommend hiper whites to anyone. if anything they're more expensive than standard bulbs, but for way less quality. they'll blow out faster, since the original problem was never addressed.

okay, now that might help the situation.

bulbs have a standard operating voltage range, so if your wires are corroded or burned up, the resistance for the voltage going to the bulbs themselves will be out of spec.

have you checked the resistance of the headlight wires going to the plugs?
