skull is thick enough that it causes the bullet to shift on impact, sometimes you dont get a direct shot or it goes straight through and the deer is able to run for a decent distance. you can get alot of glances. not to mention if the deer moves even an inch it can cause a miss, the target isnt large enough to guarantee a kill or even a hit. its a cool thought but its not practical enough
the sweet spot is always just behind the front shoulder blade, i never aim anywhere else.
