Its always better to get a matched spring/shock set. The nasty ride and noises can also be coming from the mystery brand name springs. I wouldnt buy new shocks without a known set of springs.
I'm probably going to do that.
I need to get the car painted, that's first on the list, and that's happening this week, or next week. When ever my lazy ass gets to prepping it.
