Your tires come with a warranty, I would have forced the issue with the tire dealership.

I made them replace my tires under warranty three times with my old Prelude. The tires came with a 40,000 warranty and I was getting about 10,000 miles before they went bald. I had to pay only 25% of the price since I had only gotten 25% usage from the tires.

Its an industry recognized problem with ALL Hondas, they have always come with undersized tires.
