I agree, the rules should be pretty clear. From what I understand, the TOS covers most of it.

Offtopic.com, one of the largest general discussion forum on the internet, created by Fazle (one of the OG people that was in charge of the HAN basement back in the day) was based off this very Basement because it was so active, it was fun to hang out and post fun threads. He has thousands of members online at any given time and they pay subscription fees.
I just want that old school basement back, that's all...and what better way than to start some controversial threads to make this place more active?

And part of the reason why HAN has gone where it is today was because of lack of leadership and moderation. They tried to fix it (failed by bringing on
someone who tried to rule with an iron fist) and it was too much moderation, but it took a baby step forward--yet 100 steps back.

From my skimming, the halo and transformers threads serve their purpose. Discussion about a single topic. I'm sure there are a few bs posts in there, but generally it stays on topic.
