I don't mind what they are doing. It's the board they were asked to run/watch over, they have rules within reason, there are also boards just for complete whoring. I don't see the problem if they don't want to become like that kind of a message board.

Offtopic.com, one of the largest general discussion forum on the internet, created by Fazle (one of the OG people that was in charge of the HAN basement back in the day) was based off this very Basement because it was so active, it was fun to hang out and post fun threads. He has thousands of members online at any given time and they pay subscription fees.

I just want that old school basement back, that's all...and what better way than to start some controversial threads to make this place more active?

You know what I find hilarious? When someone gets a thread locked by a mod, the mod goes on this 500-word epic fucking novel using $0.25 words in a condescending tone. Yes yes yes we all know you can swing your nuts further than anyone else here, it's fucking old already. Just lock the thread, cut down on the fucking "Good Parenting" lecture and move the fuck on.
