Just wanted to share my joy. I've been working a construction defect case for the last year or so and it was pretty intense. Couldn't settle it. We offered the guy 497k, but he wanted 610.

So we finally make it to trial and proceed to whoop on him (plaintiff is a 30 year attorney who owns his own firm).

3 weeks later, we get a full defense verdict and now he's on the hook to US for about 50k.

Oh how sweet it is.
