the 1st one is what my dad did.
I have all the equipment, turntable and an ART usb Phono Plus preamp that I bought a while ago for this express purpose. I also have Cubase LE for editing software as well.



Those phono players that have the built in usb output all cost less than just the cartridges in my turntables. Actually I could buy three or four of them for the cost of one of my cartridges...
