Well last night my brake lines completely got fubar, thankfully i was in a parking garage...

took it to a shop and they said that all my brake lines were rotted :nervous: glad this didn't happen on the highway.

anyway.. the mechanic also told me that the gas lines are also in bad shape.

then he went with the "well if you are going to replace the brake lines might as well change the gas lines too as they might get damaged while fixing the brake lines" ... is this true? im no car expert but this seemed a little fishy to me.


any advice? he said about 80% of the cost is labor. any advice?
