Well, I guess I need to build some kind of credit...
IMO, it's more responsible to purchase what you can afford without credit. I understand there are things that require credit, such as mortgages, car payments, etc. I haven't needed any of those things yet. I suppose if my folks didn't help out (read: help out, not provide) with my school bills I would be singing a different song.
I'm really good with my money, and I just never want to spend money that isn't mine (exception - student loans, which will be <$10k by graduation).
If I'm out of money, I don't buy shit, or I work my ass off to get more.
