I'm assuming that if you and your gf are in the bridal party, you must be pretty close friends. If that's the case, you probably don't want to call her out in a negative way. Just bow out as nicely as possible and tell her you'll make it up to them when they get back. When is the wedding BTW? You probably don't want to wait too long so that she can replace you.
