Exactly what I wanted to say. If she can't see the situation for what it is then screw that deal. I would never do that to real friends. That's an unreasonable request to make others pay when asking them to be part of the wedding.
She should just plan a local ceremony and go to that resort for their honeymoon. Even after pulling that kind of stunt, I probably wouldn't go. :shrug:
