15s have the most tire selection, tires are cheap, gearing doesnt suffer, the only downsides are "looks" (subjective) and you cant run big brakes.

17's are strictly going to be for looks...and maybe for big ass brakes.

16's are a nice balance of the two, but tire choices are limited.
