ideal rim size?

I have the same 15"s as SpecRs silver top pictures, i love my 15s, i had 17" rims and bent 3 of them last winter 17s look nice but you have no protection with such low pro tires. I would say 16" would be the biggest size i would go

I thought 205 45 16 would be the correct size tire for 16". I see alot of people running 205 50 16 now which is a harder tire to find that the 205 45 16 but offers greater side wall protection against these harsh streets.
