It's just that over here most people don't own firearms, so I was always puzzled as to why people felt the need to have them.
thats more understandable than someone who stands and says guns are bad ... and their only justification is that criminals use them and they have no personal experience with them
for someone who grows up with guns you dont even think of them as 'bad' until you meet someone who tells you how evil guns and gun owners are
a gun is no different than a knife, both are tools, key tools in the lives of many people ... but you put either of them into the hands of a person with bad intentions and they become dangerous. should we outlaw knives because some people are bad?
