i have one on my pc/tv/dvr cause around here, the electric company is notorious for having "dirty electric" where the power level goes up & down & it played havoc w/ my directv/tivo unit especially. i went to best buy & bought one of the geek squad brand ups w/ line conditioning & i haven't had a single problem since
