You should have just gone to that persons bank to cash the check.
I wasn't cashing it, I was depositing it....along with quite a few other checks. Hence why I went to my own bank.
Forgot to mention that they sent me a "copy" of the check (doens't look like the check, just has the info.) and said that I could use it just like the original check. There's no way I'm going to try to cash it, I feel bad for the dude!
