Not necessarily. Maacos is privately owned. There are a handful that meet the requirements and quality that Maacos approves and certifies them. They can be hard to find though.
Edit: There is a Maaco that my sister had her car painted at and a guy up the street that does hot rods for a living did the same. Wonderful quality.
Yeah, the only reason we stopped by this Maaco is because my dad had some work done there a few years back, and they did a great job.

When I worked at the low rider shop we replaced fucking damn near every panel on pretty much every car we worked on. Cutting and welding is THE only way to get rid of rust and keep it gone. The guy who said it is worthless is an idiot who prob doesn't seal the inner weld seams etc. 900 bucks actually sounds WAYYYYYY too cheap for that type of job with any quality to it.
The $900 quote was a deal... the body work was right around $600 without paint.

I believe the paint job is the $399 one, not the cheapest, but not that expensive. What sort of quality could I expect? Is it something that's going to flake in the next 3 years or something?
