ive had to do this at least 3 times in the last 4 years or so...
hmm.. if i can remember correctly.. get your flashlight out....
first take off your door panel.
then you need to pull back the plastic near the handle.
i believe theres like two 10mm bolts and you undo those, and pop out the 1inch e-clip on the back side of the key lock... it holds the lock part onto the door metal - use a pair of needle nose plyiers for that.
Then you got to turn the handle so that the hard metal line comes out, that line goes into a little plastic yellow bit that keeps the metal wire snapped onto the handle. The eclip also holds the lock inplace on the handle. switch the lock into the new handle.
sorry that a little vague, its been a lil while since i did mine last, id have to look at mine again, but its pretty simple.
one thing though. that little yellow bit that pops into the new handle where the hard metal line goes into, make sure you use the new one that comes with the new handle or the lock hard line will more than likely pop out when you get it all back together.
do not force it!!!! if its not coming out, do not try to pry it out. check your work again. also when putting the new one on, dont over turn the bolts because you can strip out your new handles reciever nuts (embedded in the plastic) and that would suck. just make it snug, not more than 7lbs probably.when you got it hand tight, dont turn them anymore. if the old handle's bolts are spun out then drill from the out side, i had to do that once.
and with the new handles, be gentle wit dem. They obviously break easily.
