I get blood labs about every 6 to 9 weeks, and visit the Liver Clinic only once every 9 months now. At the beginning right after transplant the blood work was weekly and the medication changes were that often also. I also had visits to the Liver Clinic weekly. They weaned me of the different medications as quickly as they could by using the blood work to determine how I was doing. Currently I am only taking 1 mg of ProGraf (anti-rejection med) twice a day. I am however taking other meds to deal with other problems that may be transplant related.
