yep it is a pain. we're definetly not looking forward to cleaning up the electricals.

the main problem with umm problems with the car is that very few people have experience with it. it was also the first bmw to use a new bus system which was subsequently trashed :chuckles: and rehashed/improved into the new models.

but looking beyond that, the V12 engine is rock solid reliable. I suggested that maybe we should just rip out the stock seats and put in race seats. (stock seats are about 200-250lbs) however the seatbelts are integrated into the seat so he would have no seatbelt :doh: so the car has several unique features that creates unique problem or at least require unique solutions to the problem.
