nuclear power plants + electric cars = plug it in over night and do burnouts all the way to work... well, I guess tire smoke is pollution

Hell yeah, a European market diesel econobox can do 75 mpg stock... throw electric hybrid in the mix, you're looking at 100+mpg, no tricks.
