and don't take what I said as bad, retrofitting is the best way to use HID's, BUT using the eBay headlights with an HID kit WILL help your light out put, and its easier than trying to retrofit (which takes a lot of work). I say go for it, and enjoy the better view, just make sure that your projectors have some kind of cut off or you will be pissing people off left and right by blinding them...
