Classic Car troubles
Hey guys. I thought I would come here and see if anyone has any ideas here.
My girlfriend has a 1968 Dodge Dart that hasn't been started in a few months. At first the starter was clicking, but couldn't turn the engine. We go the battery fully charged and put more gas in the car. Now when you try to start the car there is a single click then nothing. The lights will work before you try to start it then they will go off and nothing will work until you disconnect the battery and reconnect it.
It sounds like a relay or something. Perhaps shorting out? I'm not sure how advanced these cars were or what to check for. Anyone have suggestions?
