way you describe this its still a contact based design, they build it into a desk so when the laptop is on the table it charges, the phone sets on the console in the car and charges
and that wouldnt work if you built it into a floor of a garage ... cars sit on tires, which are made of rubber, which are insulators ... ergo no worky
