O I'm not judging. There are some cars I don't want to work on at all. Mainly passports, insights, civic hybrids, accord hybrids and for some reason I have no luck with Toyota. The hybrids can kill you if you mess around. So believe me I understand.
You could just take off the 2 front tires and look at your pads. If one side of the cars pads are wearing harder then the other. The side that has more beef is not grabbing as hard. Look at the outside pad and the inside pad. No brake bleeding required. The pad wear should all be the same plus or minus 1.5mm. Also look at your rotors you are looking for hot spots (purple circles), deep groves, small cracks are a give away of overheating, rotor wear the (outside edge will be tall very tall). If you have some measuring equipment you can check to see if your rotors are warped either run out or parallelism.
