there would no reason for the tech. to pull the clear cover off the gauge cluster to change the bulbs unless you have a automatic and they changed one the P R N D 2 1 bulbs (not all clusters from this year are the same) and droped somthing on it , this job is very straight forward you unscrew the 2 screws on the top side black housing pop the the shroude off (clips) 4 more screws and pull the cluster out unplug the 4 screws and change the bulbs if type a if type b then the fun begins as you have to pull the circut board off to get to the P R N D 2 1 bulbs labor is about a hour.
