It is cheaper than all the compared cars except for the tC and the 2003 CL-S. Also, the AV6 and CL-S seem to be really hard to find in a manual transmission. Doesn't that generation of CL have a history of transmission problems as well? This is all also ignoring the fact that he might simply like the way the RSX looks and feels better than the other cars.

I think around $15k sounds reasonable. I guess the key will be being willing to walk away and convince yourself that there will be other RSXs if you can't get the price you want.
