Wel you can actually it just means your filter on the WVO system will have to be changed much sooner as compared to if you filter it before putting it into the tank. Our systems have a pretty damn good filter that will remove the water efficiently.
As for clearing the oil the process as I remember is to heat the oil to 125 degrees for 18-24 hours then pour through a filter then put it into your wvo tank or holding tank.
As far as pulling up and pumping the grease vats...exactly why wouldn't it be legal to do RB? If I pull up to McD's or Safeway and ask them if I can pump their vats most if not all will say go ahead for no charge at all. It's not as though there is any law saying you can't do that and if so why don't you be so kind as to point it out to me.
