I had HID's from a Lexus gs400 in my car... they worked ok... beam pattern really sucked though... I sold them a while back and I just recently put new HID's in the car. I got salvaged Maxima headlights from a body shop that replaced them... the car was smashed in the front, which screwed the headlights up. All the HID components were fine though. I retro-fitted the bulb shield (that funny looking thing that hides the bulb from the front) from the maxima headlights, into my accord headlights... then mounted the bulb clip assembly to the back of my headlights. The beam pattern is 10X better, and best of all there isnt any glare because the maxima bulb shield keeps light from hitting the bottom of the reflector... which in turn would shine up, into other peoples eyes.
I still say a retro-fit of Audi projectors would be much better, as my beam pattern still lacks compared to a factory HID headlight... but is a lot better than before, and theres no glare.
