that happened to me actually. i had it vertical at my friends house, and he moved it before i tell him not to, and it made my rock band disc unplayable. so he bought me a new one. but he just barely moved it and the disc was toast.

not negative. more like 256 colors instead of 32 bit or whatever.



i've always kept mine horizontal. and it's pretty much always been in an entertainment center, with the doors closed, on a wooden shelf. it doesn't really get that hot at all.
