never had an issue like this with honda's. This is normal even though the keys are out of the ignition. If you push the lock itself, it will lock all doors (not switch). if you hit the switch, all doors EXCEPT driver will lock. You will only notice this happen if you opened the door from the outside with the KEY. When you open with the Key, the key lock latches to a side and that prevents it from locking. you can bust open the door to see it.
