i just dont want the association between guns and safety to be a given

its not that i think most people are using guns as evil, its that people are dumb, and i dont trust them

i dont feel safer with a gun, but i do feel safer with "you" not having one

"safety" is just a feeling, it doesnt mean you are any safer, and thats how i feel about guns, it gives people the feeling of safety, but places them in more danger because of it

i appreciate the stories about gun usage, and i am glad that those of you that have used a weapon in a dangerous situation are here to tell about it
