A lot of early bibles? :rofl: Im sure there may have been illustrations for story telling but the scribes charged with writing the scripture were held to such a standard that if a single letter wasnt written with perfect symmetry or a grammatical mistake was written, they were forced to start over. In some cases, they were forced to start over on the entire work because it was believed that it had to be as near to perfection as possible since it was a representation of God. :gtfo:
