sure maybe they hamper it, but with the increasing sanctions theres no way that they could.
not to mention, a country that relies on the majority of their income to be provided through oil cant just stop pumping it.
how are they going to pay for their shit? they may hamper the invading force but are also going to greatly hamper their own.
and in irans case, to top it off. they have very crude and poor refining skills. i believe a majority of their oil / fuel they use internally is refined by others for them.
i still say they are far from a super power
I wasn't saying Iran I mentioned in my first post that "If it were Saudi Arabia saying this I would be more inclined to agree".
Then I replied to your comment on what a superpower is and what it means...in the end all a superpower has to do is have a way of putting a large part of the rest of the world to it's knees whether it be by military might or financial strategery. One is just as strong as the other if you can cripple a country in a single move
