dude u better get that shit checked out ASAP. if one of the wires strips and touches the body of the car. it'll cause a short, then heat up, melting all the coating on other wires which will cause even more shorts, and eventually ur car will catch fire. NO Bullshit. This takes less than 5 mins.
already seen that way too many times.
id worry about the starting problem later.
if ur gonna do it urself, then remove the door panel disconnect the wire harness and pull it out and redo stripped/broken wires.
