I think that senser is located under your distributer cap. Look for loose connections. It could just be a failing senser but you will have to get a hole new dizzy. Or pull a dizzy from a b or d series and swap the senser out.

A tdc senser is very impotent so ya it could be related to your no start.

Also found this crap a long time ago. Aftermarket junk can mes with senser signals??????????? Ive never run across it.
