Did you SERIOUSLY expect iridium spark plugs and "iridium wires" to get you more horsepower?
You gained maybe 8 or 10 horsepower total.
I think you need to face reality: You have a 1995 Honda Accord. Plain and simple. It's slow and doesn't respond well to bolt on mods. You have 3 options:
1) Better engine - H22/3 is ideal, but if you've actually been in a quick or fast car you'll still think your car is slow. However, it has MUCH better potential than your F22. If you can put it in yourself, you can find a good one for maybe $1500 or $2k.
2) turbo - $3k+ to do it right and reliabily (internals too), if you can do it yourself. 3k is on the very cheap side.
3) Save up for a nicer car - this is my suggestion 90% of the time unless you're serious about throwing thousands of dollars into something that will never give you any return value.
You are absolutely right. It takes too much time, effort, and money to make an Accord into a legitimately fast car.Go out and get an STI and be done with it.
