Good to hear the problem's solved, at least for now. You always have to take what the dealer tells you with a pinch of salt. I went to the dealer once when my catalytic converter was making noise on my '93 Accord. It sounded like marbles rolling around in the exhaust. They told me I needed a new CC. I took it to another shop, one we use for most routine repairs that I can't do. He told me it was the heat shield on the downpipe from the exhaust manifold. He bent it back a little and that was it, didn't even charge me for it. No problems after that. That little experience made me think twice about the dealer. I'm not saying they're all bad, but they're not any better than any other mechanic out there either.
